Parents are no longer just searching on Google. They are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity which schools to shortlist. This audit shows exactly where Fairgreen stands, who is winning, and what to do next.
Saigon Digital helped us completely rethink our digital visibility strategy. Within months of working together, our school started appearing in AI-generated recommendations, our organic traffic grew significantly, and the quality of admissions enquiries improved dramatically. View Case StudiesA snapshot of where Fairgreen International School stands in the AI search era, and the admissions enquiries being lost to competitors every week.
Fairgreen sits inside one of Dubai's most compelling brand stories: the only IB continuum school built inside The Sustainable City, powered by 100% renewable energy, with Green Schools Platinum certification. Yet with a Domain Rating of just 29, only 34 organic keywords, and virtually no presence across AI search platforms, the school's digital footprint does not match its real-world positioning. Parents asking ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity "which sustainable schools should I consider in Dubai?" are being directed to SISD, Arbor School, and GEMS Legacy instead. The sustainability story that makes Fairgreen unique is simply not being told in places where AI can find it.
We tested how Fairgreen International School appears when prospective parents ask AI tools to recommend schools in Dubai. Here is what we found across each platform.
ChatGPT does not mention Fairgreen in any of the school recommendation queries we tested. When asked about sustainable schools in Dubai, it recommends SISD, Arbor School, and GEMS Legacy. Fairgreen's low domain authority and lack of original content mean ChatGPT has no strong signals to draw from.
Google AIO mentions Fairgreen in narrow sustainability-specific queries (e.g. "eco-friendly schools Dubai") but only as a brief mention behind SISD and Arbor. For broader "best IB schools Dubai" queries, Fairgreen does not appear at all. Third-party review sites are cited instead of Fairgreen's own website.
Perplexity does not cite Fairgreen in school recommendation queries. The platform pulls from authoritative sources with strong content depth, and Fairgreen's website offers no blog content, guides, or detailed programme pages for Perplexity to reference. Competitors with richer content dominate these results.
Gemini does not recommend Fairgreen when parents ask about IB schools or sustainable education in Dubai. SISD (powered by Nord Anglia's DR 74 domain) and Arbor School consistently appear instead. Without stronger domain authority and original content, Gemini has no reason to surface Fairgreen.
0 of 4 platforms consistently cite Fairgreen International School in relevant AI-generated recommendations. Google AIO shows partial results for narrow sustainability queries only. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini show no results at all.
A growing number of expat parents in Dubai use AI tools to research schools before ever visiting a campus. If Fairgreen is not in those recommendations, parents never add it to their shortlist. Every month this gap persists, competitor schools capture enquiries that should be going to Fairgreen.
We ran the exact searches prospective parents use when asking AI and search engines to recommend schools in Dubai. Here is who appeared, and whether Fairgreen was in the answer.
Fairgreen only appears when the query specifically mentions "The Sustainable City" or "eco-friendly schools Dubai," and even then as a brief mention behind competitors. For the high-volume, high-intent queries parents actually use ("best IB schools Dubai," "affordable IB schools," "KHDA rated schools"), Fairgreen is completely absent. These are the queries that drive admissions enquiries.
Fairgreen has the strongest sustainability credentials of any school in Dubai: 100% renewable energy, Green Schools Platinum, IB continuum inside The Sustainable City. But this story is not being told through content that search engines and AI models can find. Building that content would let Fairgreen own the "sustainable education Dubai" category while also competing on broader "best IB schools" queries.
These are the schools currently winning AI recommendations for the queries your prospective parents use. Understanding why they are cited, and where Fairgreen is not, reveals the exact gap to close.

These are the highest-leverage changes Fairgreen can make to start appearing in AI-generated school recommendations within 30 to 90 days.
Create a dedicated section on fairgreen.ae with 8 to 12 long-form guides that own your category: "What Is Sustainability Education?", "How Solar-Powered Schools Work," "IB and Sustainability: A Complete Parent Guide," "Why The Sustainable City Is the Future of School Campuses." Include real data from your campus (energy output, recycling rates, student project outcomes). No other school in Dubai can write this content with the same authenticity. AI models heavily favour original, data-backed educational content.
Your website currently has no Organization or School schema markup, no FAQ schema, and no llms.txt file. Adding structured data helps search engines and AI models understand Fairgreen's curriculum, KHDA rating, location, fee structure, and accreditations in machine-readable format. An llms.txt file would let AI crawlers quickly understand what Fairgreen is and what it offers. These are quick, technical changes with outsized impact on how AI interprets your site.
Fairgreen appears on review aggregators (WhichSchoolAdvisor, SchoolsCompared) but has almost no presence in education publications, sustainability outlets, or news media. Arbor School won a World's Best School Prize and earned coverage in dozens of publications. Fairgreen's Green Schools Platinum status and renewable-energy campus are equally newsworthy. Securing 5 to 10 editorial mentions in outlets like Gulf News Education, Khaleej Times, and international sustainability publications would dramatically strengthen AI citation signals.
While auditing how AI sees Fairgreen International School, we also looked at the website itself (Finalsite CMS). These specific issues are holding back both your AI visibility and how the site converts prospective parent enquiries.
The homepage displays an "Upcoming Events" section that currently shows no content, creating a placeholder-like impression for prospective parents visiting the site. Empty content sections signal to both visitors and search crawlers that the site is not actively maintained. For a school competing for premium admissions, every homepage element should reinforce credibility. This section should either be populated with real events (open days, campus tours, information sessions) or replaced with a more engaging content block like parent testimonials or sustainability impact statistics.
We found no School, Organization, FAQ, or Breadcrumb schema markup on any page of fairgreen.ae. This is a significant missed opportunity: structured data is how Google generates rich snippets (fee ranges, KHDA rating, location, curriculum type) that appear directly in search results. Competitor schools on platforms like WordPress have structured data that gives them enhanced search listings. On Finalsite, adding schema requires custom code injection, but it is straightforward and would immediately improve how Fairgreen appears in both traditional search and AI-generated results.
The site loads multiple GTM containers, along with several analytics scripts running in parallel. This adds unnecessary page weight, slows initial load time (particularly on mobile connections common among parents browsing from phones), and can cause data duplication in analytics reporting. Consolidating to a single GTM container and removing redundant tracking scripts would improve Core Web Vitals scores, which Google uses as a ranking factor for both organic search and AI Overview inclusion.
Web development is a core strength at Saigon Digital. We work with Finalsite, WordPress, and custom platforms daily. Fixing the issues above is part of the work, not a separate project. We handle the AI visibility, the SEO, and the website itself, all under one roof.
This audit shows the problem. Fixing it means more than AI alone: the website, the SEO, and the AI visibility all work together. We handle all three, then keep it growing.
Fairgreen has what no other school in Dubai can claim: a 100% renewable-energy campus, Green Schools Platinum certification, and a full IB continuum inside The Sustainable City. But with a DR of 29, just 34 organic keywords, and zero consistent AI citations, that story is not reaching the parents who need to hear it. The gap to competitors like SISD and Arbor School is real but closeable, fast. We typically start with a fixed-price foundation sprint covering AI/GEO visibility, SEO, content, and the website fixes above, then a simple monthly retainer to keep growing. A 30-minute call is all it takes to map it out.
Nick Rowe · CEO & Co-Founder, Saigon Digital
A fixed-price 3-month sprint: build the sustainability content hub, add structured data and AI readiness signals, fix the Finalsite technical issues, and establish the SEO foundations that AI models require. One scope, one price, measurable results within the first admissions cycle.
A simple monthly retainer once the foundation is set: continued SEO and AI visibility growth, regular content publishing, editorial placement in education and sustainability publications, and website maintenance and support. Rolling monthly, no long lock-in.
Every admissions cycle that passes without AI visibility is a cycle where SISD, Arbor, and GEMS Legacy capture the parents who would have chosen Fairgreen. Arbor School won a World's Best School Prize in 2025 and is now earning AI citations that compound over time. AI models are training on content published now, so delay widens the gap. With the next admissions cycle approaching, the window to act is open today.
